Guidelines for Eligibility

Tony Stewart established his foundation for the sole purpose of assisting qualified not-for-profit organizations that serve children, animals and injured drivers. Grant awards are given only to organizations operating and providing service in the United States. Further, as a result of the close ties that Tony has with the Indianapolis, Indiana and the Charlotte, North Carolina metropolitan areas, organizations supporting programs and projects in these markets may be given greater preference over similar organizations operating elsewhere.

The Tony Stewart Foundation accepts grant applications from qualified organizations providing mission toward the following:

Tony Stewart Foundation focuses on improving the lives of children

Applications will be considered that focus on charitable initiatives that improve the mental and/or physical well-being of children who endure serious chronic or life-threatening illness or injury.

Tony Stewart Foundation focuses on improving the lives of all animals

Applications will be considered that focus on charitable initiatives that improve the physical well-being and/or address principle threats to animal welfare or animal conservation for various animal species.

Tony Stewart Foundation focuses on improving the lives of disabled drivers

Applications will be considered that focus on charitable initiatives that improve the mental and/or physical well-being of drivers who endure serious injury from participation in motor sports activities.
