Join us on August 7th as the Tony Stewart Foundation hosts KARTAPALOOZA at Slideways Karting Center in Knoxville, Iowa. In addition to the featured Sage Fruit Go-Kart Spectacular, there will be several fun activities for fans taking place throughout the day.


KARTAPALOOZA raises funds to directly benefit children who are critically ill and/or physically disabled; animals at-risk; and drivers injured in the sport of racing.


Whether a participant or a spectator, spending the day with friends at KARTAPALOOZA is sure to become a favorite tradition added to the Knoxville Nationals experiences.


Spectators are welcomed to attend KARTAPALOOZA to enjoy watching the competitions, shopping at the merchandise tent, enjoying specialty food & drink courtesy of Sage Fruit Company and kicking back listening to a great DJ spin tunes and call the action.


Gate donations of $5/person are encouraged but not required. All donations benefit the 2019 Foundation Grant Program.


Slideways will run a shuttle between Knoxville Raceway & Slideways starting at 9:00 am.

How To Participate In The Competitions:


EVERYONE can play FETCH! You don’t have to be in Knoxville on August 7th!

Picture a field full of numbered yellow tennis balls. Now see Sheriff Jason Sandholdt sending in his pair of K9 officers to FETCH 14 winning balls. Just $5.00 per ball, now is the time to bounce and claim your numbered ball(s).

Each of the 14 winners will receive a TSF Swag Bag including an official KARTAPALOOZA t-shirt and a RACR14 license plate autographed by Tony Stewart. Value of each Swag Bag is at least $100.

Winners will be announced at KARTAPALOOZA. Those not attending will have their Swag Bag shipped no later than August 30.

Pie Eating Contest:

Limited to 30 participants, the 1st Annual Sage Fruit Pie Eating Contest will be sweet! Each participant receives a KARTAPALOOZA t-shirt. The top 3 finishers claim these fabulous prizes:

Tony Stewart, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Kyle Larson, Brian Brown, and McKenna Haase are ready to race…YOU! 

The Sage Fruit Company Go-Kart Spectacular is the feature event at this summer’s KARTAPALOOZA at Slideways. Tony Stewart, Kyle Larson, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Brian Brown, and McKenna Haase are the challengers to beat!


For drivers and spectators alike, this action-packed event gets underway at 1:30 pm CDT. Featuring 10 heat races, a last-chance showdown, and the 20-lap feature race, the Go-Kart Spectacular tests the skills of 50 non-professional competitors. Larson, known to have an unending supply of baby powder, does his part to keep the track challenging yet a blast on which to race.


The entry fee of $400 is a charitable contribution to the Tony Stewart Foundation – specifically, the 2019 Grants Program providing monetary grants helping children battling critical illness, animals at-risk or endangered and drivers injured in the sport of racing.


Entries for the Sage Fruit Company Go-Kart Spectacular are limited to fifty (50) participants who must be 16 years or older and must meet the 56-inch minimum height requirement.


Beyond the bragging rights that you raced against a trio of NASCAR and dirt track professional racers, each donor participant will receive:
     - Driver t-shirt
     - RACR14 license plate (2019 design) autographed by Tony Stewart
     - Engraved Commemorative Piston autographed by Tony, Kyle Larson and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.
     - Meet & Greet with Tony, Kyle, Ricky, Brian, and McKenna
     - Swag-Bag with fun items from Sage Fruit Company, Slideways, and other sponsors

This karting event is open to the public for a suggested $5.00 donation per person (age 12 and under are free) with all proceeds benefitting the Tony Stewart Foundation Grant Program.
